

She was born November 24, 1947 in Upton Georgia to Kenneth R. Barlow and Doris Martin Barlow.
She is preceded in death by her Father.
Glenda seemed to make the best of every situation. She loved to laugh and always smiled. She was very generous and liked to help those in need. She enjoyed reading and watching nature. Her life revolved around her family. She will be sorely missed by everyone. She was , without a doubt, one of a kind.
She is survived by her loving husband Melvin R. Burns of the home; mother, Doris S. Martin of Madison; sons, Zane Wesley Payne, Jr. of Madison, Mike Burns and his wife Denita of Lexington, David Burns and his wife Stephanie of Raleigh; daughter, Tammy J. Payne of Madison; brothers, Steve Barlow and Ameil Mounts; sister, Mary Smith and husband Lowell; grandchildren, Nina, Brian, Nicolas, Brandon, Tyler, Taylor, Katie, Emma and Logan.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the Funeral Home Chapel; followed by interment in Floral Gardens Memorial Park.
