Gwen was born November 6, 1947 in Dillon, S.C. to Clifford and Sally Reason Parker.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Jacob Luther Thomas.
Gwen is survived by her daughter, Cindy Vaughn and husband Gary of Thomasville; mother, Sally Parker of Thomasville; brother, Charles Parker and wife Debbie; sister, Linda Parker Strider of Thomasville; grandchildren, Caileigh Vaughn and Marcus Vaughn.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, January 9th at Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Knight and Pastor Donnie Lunsford; interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
