Harold was born in High Point, March 30, 1936, a son of the late Jonathan Albert Tucker and Clara Corder Tucker. He worked as a mechanic all of his life until retirement. Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda Sims Tucker, a son, Gregory Dean Tucker and a brother, Robert Lee Furr. He loved and enjoyed his children and grandchildren. Harold loved fishing and Nascar races and enjoyed going to the beach with his family.
Surviving are a daughter, Denni Pitt and husband, Terry; three sons, Randy Tucker and wife, LeAnn, Bobby Tucker and Jeff Tucker and wife, Amy; sisters, Judy Harrington, Peggy Morris, Carolyn Jones, Chris Ferguson and husband Barney and Gloria Stepp and husband Dale; a twin brother, Darrell Gene Tucker and wife Becky and brothers Alfred Furr and Jerry Tucker and wife Sharon; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Thomasville Funeral Home is serving the family
