Katherine was born in Wytheville, Virginia on March 24, 1942. She was a loving and devoted wife/ mother/grandmother/great-grandmother. Clyde and Katherine have been married for 60 years, during which time they raised four boys (Olen, Wesley, Kelly, and Walter). A few of her many passions in life were to help children and serve the LORD. She taught Sunday school lessons for 30 plus years at her local church of God. Katherine operated a daycare service for 20 years where she helped children of all ages grow. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Clyde of the home, son Olen, son Wesley, daughter in-law Wendy, son Kelly, daughter in-law Tammy, daughter in-law Delana; 5 grandchildren, Crystal Matthews, Jessica James, Brandon Burcham, Ashley Burcham and Shannon Burcham; 3 great grandchildren, Ragan,Damian, and Finley She is preceded in death by her son Walter “Wally” Burcham and 6 siblings, one of which was her twin Betty.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the request of the family.
