Jack was born March 31,1938, in Davidson County, a son of the late Roy Lee Holder and Annie Embler Lane. He started driving trucks when he was 18 years old and drove until he passed. Jack received several safety awards, one being driving 1 million miles accident free. Through his journey of truck driving, Jack worked for Masonite. He was an owner operator for over 25 years. Jack then worked for Sealy Mattress and retired from there in the mid 2000's. For his love of driving, he went back to work for Shuler's Meat Company in Thomasville, NC.
Jack was a member of God's House of Prayer For His Glory. He was a devoted Christian, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly.
Preceded Jack's death was his son, Ricky Holder; his daughter, Lynn Beck; and eight siblings.
Survivors of Jack's legacy are his wife of 34 years, Frances Reaves Holder; his daughter, Misty Hardister (Rodney); his son, Jamie Rogerson (Debbie); one brother, Buddy Holder; three sisters, Patty Saunders (Jim), Carol Lee Humphrey and Gloria Jean Holder; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held Friday June 27, 2025 at 1pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations in Thomasville, NC officiated by Pastor Ronnie Everhart. The family will receive visitors from 11am-1pm prior to service. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville, NC.
