Janice Elaine (Craver) Norman

Janice Elaine Craver Norman, age 66, passed away on April 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born in Lexington on June 13, 1952 to the late Donovan and Lois Craver. She worked in customer service for the majority of her life; working in grocery and furniture stores until her retirement. Janice enjoyed playing bingo and was looking forward to a trip to the casino to celebrate her birthday in June. Her biggest enjoyment in life came from her family. In her spare time she was with her daughters or grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Norman, and brother, Donald Wayne Craver. Janice leaves behind her daughters, Laura (Timothy) Lambert and Martha Kennedy; grandchildren, Donovan Miller, CJ McGuier, and Tiffany McGuier; sisters, Lois Jeter and Mary Craver; brothers, David Craver and Baxter Craver; sister-in-law, Barbara (Jimmy) Ashley; nieces, Lisa Craver, Amber Craver, and Vivian (Robert) Custis; nephews, Donald Craver and James Bo Brown; and many other loved ones and friends. Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her presence will truly be missed by anyone who knew her. Her favorite holiday was Easter; the family takes comfort that this Easter, she’ll be hunting for her Easter Eggs in heaven. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, April 14th from 5pm-7pm at Thomasville Funeral Home.
