I have not seen JoAnn for about 6 weeks although I had planned to see her about a month ago--Shows me once again how fleeting time can be. Personal issues once again interfered with my visiting as often as I thought of JoAnn. Mr. McQueen, Joetta, and Jim: you all were so welcoming when I did get over to see JoAnn and I want you to know how very sorry I am to hear today of her passing. I was stunned in the early part of the year when she called me and told me of her prognosis. She was always so kind and good to me at the church we once attended together--she is in my memories and helps make them lovely to think about. But for you, my heart goes out--I know it has been a long road, one that we all must take at some time, and I pray that you and I will meet again, with your wife and mother, on the other side , in heaven. May God bless you and show Himself strong in your lives. If I have let you or your mom down by not seeing her before she passed, please forgive me--it was not my intention, but I trust I will meet her again, only this time in glory. May you and I purpose in our hearts to always know and cling to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and the faith of your wife and mother. God wants us to be perfect, but forgives us when we are not and ask Him for forgiveness--I feel sure JoAnn and I both have been before Him many times asking for his forgiveness--and now we can think of her as in His heavenly presence because He was her Saviour. Love and prayers--please let me know if I can help you in some way. Phyllis
