Judy Kay Bell Goff

Judy was born to the late Charles Kenneth Bell and Mary Alice Phillips Bell on May 1, 1949 in Beckley, WV. She attended Cloverdale Church of the Living God and was a devout Christian. Judy worked for many years as a CNA caring for the elderly and she was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Judy will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by a brother, Harold W. Lester.

Those left behind to cherish Judy’s memory include her husband of 43 years, Samuel R. Goff; four children, Jimmie D. Richards of Morganton, Susan Goff Lester and her husband, Chris of Winston-Salem, Chris Goff and his wife, Renea of Lawndale; and Becki Goff Marvin and her husband, Brian of Thomasville; two step-sons, James Goff and his wife, Simone of Elkhart, IN and Ronald Goff and his fiancé Bridget of Belleville, MI; three sisters, Peggy Bell Brown and her husband, Wiley of Boone, Debbie Bell Hill and her husband, Norris of Thomasville and Kathy Lester Allen and her husband, Tim of Morganton, GA; and an Aunt and Uncle, Jo and Sam Gration of Josephine, WV. Judy is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2015 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The Reverends Kathy Allen and Jimmie Richards will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
