Laura Burris Willis, 92, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home with family.
Laura was born in Tyner, Kentucky, September 28, 1928, a daughter of the late Henry and Martha Lucas Burris. She had lived in the area since 1953 and retired from Thomasville Furniture. Laura loved caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Watson Willis, Sr.; a daughter, Annette Johnson; two grandsons, Jeremy Johnson and Christopher Rabon and ten siblings.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Minor, Pamela Rabon and her husband John, and Deborah Todd; a son, Ray Watson Willis, Jr.; two sisters, Nellie Sanders and Ida Mae Burris; four grandchildren, Jason Rabon, Timothy and Jay Todd and Jeremiah Johnson; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Todd.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 24 at 12 noon at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at thomasvillefh.com.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Laura’s passing. All of you are in our prayers. She was always nice to be around. I remember her smiling a lot.

I'm so sorry to hear the passing of y'all's mother she was a sweet lady and always good to everyone, I'll always remember her when I was a young child she would see me outside and stop and talk to me, I'll be praying for all of you God bless
