Aunt Lena, me and Megan spent so much time with you down at the lake, shopping for matching dresses going to church and go fishing, I love you Aunt Lena and I thank you for all you done for me, You took me shopping for school clothes always at Belk. So many wonderful memories of time spent with my Aunt Lena. Growing up, she was a second Mom to me. Anna & I spent so much time together as kids. Aunt Lena came to Elizabeth City to stay with my brother & me while our parents went on a trip. She brought Anna, Freddie & a friend of the family, Melita with her. She took all of us kids to Virginia Beach & we had the best time! So many wonderful times spent together but this one always stood out in my memories. Love you always Aunt Lena! Prayers & love to Anna, Megan & Josh.

So sorry to learn of Lena's passing. Our family has lost so many it seems. I think often of all the good times we shared growing up and all the fun we had. Lena was one of those cousins that had so many of the Ridge family resemblances and characteristics. Rest in peace Lena in the arms of the angels with Jesus. Love to Freddie, Anna and family.

Aunt Lena was so kind to Danny and me when we got home from the Air Force In 1975. Christy was just an infant. Lena would come to Granny Wilson’s house and visit with us. She was a good Mama and loved her daughter, Anna, and her grandchildren, Megan and Josh, so much.
