Mr. Leonard Edward Robbins

Leonard Edward Robbins, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 16, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Franklin County, TN on April 21, 1936 a son to the late Velma Bohanan. He was married 58 years to his loving wife, Maxine Proctor Robbins who preceded him in death. He worked many years as a truck driver for Roadway, Pilot, and Yellow Freight. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Gass and Sam Gass.

Surviving are daughters; Karen Hinshaw and Sharon Tilley both of Thomasville; son, Tony Robbins and companion Patti Oates of Winchester, VA; brother, Wayne Gass and wife Sue of Cowan, TN; sisters, Joyce Short of Cowan, TN, Vera Mitchell and husband George of Cowan, TN, Janice Isbell of Winchester, TN.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Landreth officiating. The interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service. Online condolences may be offered at www.thomasvillefh.com.
