Lucas was born on June 10, 1979 in Gainesville, FL to Joseph Franchi and Alicia Simpson. He had worked as a truck driver with his brother until his death.
Surviving are his parents, Alicia Simpson of the home; father, Joseph Franchi of Davie, Florida; his former wife, Katie Franchi; children, Avery and Mollie Franchi; brother, Joseph Franchi; and sister, Allie Franchi.
A celebration of Lucas’ life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 9th in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Pastor Luke Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the hour of the service.
