Marsha R. Robinson, age 80, of Thomasville, NC, entered into eternal rest in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, while singing his praises at Hillside Park Baptist Church. She was born in Davidson County on November 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert and Clara Rierson.
Marsha was a devout congregant of Hillside Park Baptist Church. She loved to sing and was a member of the New Spirit Singers Gospel Group. She had a love for travelling and visiting new places. She also enjoyed shopping and gardening. Marsha had a love for animals, especially for her dog Chloe. She was a very giving person and was always there to lend a helping hand. Her presence and light is already greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Delmas Wayne Robinson; daughter, Melissa Hunt Ball (Todd); step-son, Hamilton Mark Robinson (Britain); sister, Bobbie Rierson Hopkins; brother-in-law, Hilton Hunt; and dog, Chloe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 54 years, William Odell Hunt; brother, Michael Edward Rierson; sister, Susan Rierson Hunt; and brother-in-law, Dwight Hopkins.
A funeral service for Marsha will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Park Baptist Church, 7593 E Holly Grove Rd, Thomasville, NC, by Dr. Steven L. Chipps. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
