Melissa was a devoted mother, loving Mimi, beloved daughter and sister, wonderful aunt, and caring friend. She spent her lifetime loving and caring for her family.
She is survived by her mother, Dixie Crawford; son, Logan and his wife Jenni; daughter, Olivia and her partner Danny; brother, Matthew and his wife Heather; niece, Rebekah; brother, Luke and his wife Natasha; nieces, Aleigha and Alaina; brother, Brock; niece, Paiten; and her two dear grandbabies, Maggie and Liam. She would often say Logan and Olivia were her world and her grandbabies were her heart, and she loved them all SO BIG.
Melissa will be remembered for her caring personality and how she was always looking out for others and doing what she could to make their life brighter.
We will be celebrating the love we had for Melissa and honoring her life on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC 27360. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a memorial service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maggie’s Raes of Sun (@maggiesraesofsun on Venmo or search the name on Facebook and Instagram to support), a fund for Maggie’s extra care or Cooperative Community Ministry of Thomasville, or a local charity that spreads love and light to your community like Melissa did in ours.
