

A resident of this area all of his life, Roger was born on October 25, 1942 in Thomasville to the late Albert and Doris Hunt. He was an employee of Border Concepts in Lexington and also attended Central Wesleyan Church. Roger especially enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Doris Turner Hunt of the home; daughter, Denise Leonard and her husband Winfred of Lexington; son, Michael Hunt and his wife Jeryll of Lexington; step-daughter, Amanda Hutchins and her husband Christopher of Thomasville; step-son, Cecil Fishel and his wife Michelle of Thomasville; and his sister, Fay Young of Lexington. Also surviving are Roger’s grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Tyler, and Tristan; and great grandchildren, Elias, Caden, and Ciara.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 22nd at Central Wesleyan Church, 300 Hinkle St., Thomasville, with Rev. David Albertson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hilly Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday, February 21st at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St.
