He was born August 26, 1929 in Moore County to
the late Henry Lee and Ethel Marsh Bowers.
Roy enjoyed RV camping; was an avid baseball fan and loved country music.
Roy is survived by two sons, Gregory Bowers, Tim Bowers and wife Barbara; granddaughter, Lauren Taylor Bowers.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PMSaturday, August 18, 2012 at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Rose officiating. Thomasville Funeral Home is assisting the family.
