Sally Gladys Thomas Gallimore, age 82, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

She was born in Rockingham County, NC on March 13, 1936 a daughter to the late Burl Clifton Thomas and Elizabeth Frances Slate Thomas. She was a utility worker for Thomasville Furniture before her retirement. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melissa Hancock, three sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are daughters, Teresa Lamb and husband David, Sheila Hancock and husband Homer; sons, Curtis Gallimore and wife Betty, Steven Gallimore, Rodney Gallimore; sister, Mary Hiatt; thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Thomasville Funeral Home with interment to follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
