Mrs. Hunt was born on March 3, 1938 in Randolph County, a daughter to Dave and Sally Ann Younts Hoover. She worked in the healthcare field as a dietician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Richard Hunt.
Surviving Mrs. Hunt are her three sons and their wives: Donald and Kathy Hunt, Dale and Pansy Hunt and Ricky and Wendy Hunt; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville NC with Rev. Donnie Lundsford officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Community Church Cemetery, 2415 Hoover Hill Rd. Trinity NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2013 at Thomasville Funeral Home.
