

A resident of this area most of his life, Buster was born on February 19, 1947 in Columbus County, NC to the late Javie James and Mary Alice Coleman Wilson. He was a member of Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church and had worked as a truck driver for over 45 years. Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing, and life itself. He loved cooking, evangelizing, and helping out at the church.
Surviving are his wife, Faye Stephens Wilson of the home; sons, Richard Dean Wilson and his wife Pennie Leigh of Lexington and William Aggrippa Wilson and his wife Stacie Yvonne of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter, Merrialys Margrett Wilson; sister, Sandra Kaye Hutchins and her husband Junior of Lexington; brother, Robert Glen Wilson of Lexington; niece, Sarah Melissa Wilson; and nephews, Kevin James Hutchins and Mitchell Hutchins, both of Lexington.
A celebration of Buster’s life will be held at 7 pm Monday, February 9th at Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church with Pastor Junior Hutchins and Pastor Reggie Rakes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A cryptside service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, February 10th at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
