William Harvey Todd

William "Billy" Todd, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2025 at his residence.

Billy was born in Robeson County, October 14, 1954, a son of the late Cantwell and Violet Owens Todd. He was a graduate of Littlefield High School. Billy worked for Thomasville Furniture Industries for 34 years and was currently employed by Ornamental Moulding in Archdale. Billy was the ultimate family man, loved going to his grandchildren's ballgames and fishing when he got a chance. He was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church in Lexington.

Billy was preceded in death by two sisters, Frankie Taylor and Mary Lou Branch; and a brother, Jimmy Todd.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Linda Sue Payne Todd; two daughters, Heather Ashby and her husband Stephen and Heidi Key and her husband Justin; a sister, Dula Rose Parker; four grandchildren, Peyton Ashby, Paxton Ashby, Liam Key and Lexi Key and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Billy's life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church by Reverend Henry King, Pastor Doug McGee and Reverend Stephen Ashby. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home, Thomasville, Tuesday from 6 until 7:30 p.m.
