Dear dad, you were was the best father anybody could ever ask for. You are my mentor and will forever be in my heart. I miss you so very much and will always love and cherish my memories with you. I loved my grandfather (Paw Paw) very much and will miss him greatly.  I know that he's happy and at peace now because he's been rejoined with the woman he loved so much, his wife Sarah....my grandmother (Maw Maw).  I have many wonderful memories growing up and spending time at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house....Christmas and Thanksgiving, the cousins at the kiddie table, the box of misfit toys, playing golf at Quail Hollow, gathered around the living room watching football, Easter egg hunts, and many more.  And minus the creamed onions, Paw Paw was also an excellent cook!  I will think of you often Paw Paw!

 Jim's Dad was a hard working man who will be greatly missed. He was good at working with his hands and could fix almost anything. We believe and are comforted that he knew Jesus as his Savior and that he is happy to be with Mom again. He's not been happy since she left us. Thanks to all for the prayers and loving words.

PawPaw (as known to me) was a kind and gentle man.  He was a loving husband, loving Father, and loving Grandfather.  PawPaw was extremely giving and wanted the best for us all. I know he is now walking hand in hand with MawMaw.  We love you and will miss you PawPaw!

We loved our PawPaw!  His sense of humor, his passion for politics, his love of his wife and family!  I will forever cherish the memories of him and MawMaw.  Jumping in their pool with my brothers and Shane and Tori, eating popsicles on their porch, opening presents on Christmas Eve and trying desperately to reach the candy bowl!
