I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ms O. My heartfelt condolences goes out to you guys during this incredibly difficult time. You 3 were everything to your mama and she was everything to all 3 of you this I know for a fact. I feel so blessed to have the memories I have of Ms O, always pleasant (even when we were hanging in the garage doing the MOST) Always inviting, always speaking positive & ofcourse always looking top tier amazingly gorgeous! 

Ms O was not just a mother but also a beacon of love, strength, and wisdom for all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness touched us all and her memory will forever be cherished.

My deepest condolences to the Ovbiagele family. Ailene was a bright light in any room.  I will always remember her kindness and infectious smile. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to experience her positivity and words of encouragement in our conversations. Those conversations will be dearly missed. 

Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever shine brightly.

I'm not a man for a lot of words when it comes to something like this, But Miss O was like a mother to me and I will cherish every moment. I'm deeply sorry for my 3 brothers and they're family, I can't imagine how you feel at this time. May you rest in peace 💙🙏

It is with deep regret the Chance Family did not have the honour of ever meeting Ailene Ovbiagele, however we have been blessed to know Mede for the last six years.  

From the very first time we met Mede, it was clear he was a kind, caring man with a deep faith and strong Christian values.  His unwavering love and commitment to his family is honourable.

His Mother's unconditional love, her tenacity and her perseverance is seen in Mede every day and we pray that God's light continues to shine through.

I looked up to Ailene in every way, as a mother, daughter, friend and all around person and had the true honour of calling her my mother-in-law or better known as, Momzie. Family always came first to Ailene, her boys and grandsons, were her pride and joy. She loved them immensely. It quickly became evident after meeting her that everything she did was for her family and their health and happiness. 
She embodied the true definition of selfless, always putting the needs and feelings of those around her first before her very own. She always made everyone around her feel special and loved with her kindness and positivity. Any accomplishment or special occasion was always celebrated first with a call or message - often the very first person to reach out. It didn't matter how busy life got, Ailene always found the time and was there because it was important to her.
I am so grateful for all the memories I have many of which she ensured were made whether that was during the annual summer cottage getaways, family dinners, birthday celebrations, or just the two of us sharing a glass of wine to catch up. I was so lucky to have her in my life.
We love you Momzie and will smile in your memory appreciating the love you had for everyone and knowing that you will always shine upon us.

Reme, Mede, Aide, I'm so sorry for your loss. Ailene was my friend and I will miss her terribly.  She was a strong, caring, beautiful lady. We celebrated our birthdays together every year at Chatterpauls, she spoke of you and her grandsons often, stories of soccer, summer vacations at airbnb cottages were always part of the conversation, she was happy.  This March will be different. I know that it will be difficult going forward without Ailene but eventually we will be able to look back at our memories and know that we were fortunate to have known such a fine lady in our lifetime. Mrs. Ailene Ovbiagele was such an inspiration to me as a child growing up. I lived on the street next to the Ovbiagele's and on a daily basis, Ailene could be seen jogging passed my house on her way to the Hydro Field. Neither rain, nor sleet, nor heat, nor snow could deter her from getting in her run. I would point her out to my parents in hopes of encouraging them to do the same. 
As childhood friends of the Ovbiagele boys I've spent quite some time at their house and Ailene always made me feel welcome and treated me with such kindness and care just like I was one of her own sons. She will definitely be missed but her legacy will live on in the 3 great men she raised (Mede, Aide & Reme) and the other young boys around them that she helped inspire like myself. 
Once again my condolences to Mede, Aide, Reme and the entire family.

Ailene was an exceptional colleague and the most compassionate and enduring friend. We spent many years having lunch together. I loved hearing about her family. She adored her sons and grandchildren. In speaking to her in the last month, she was strong, willful and hopeful. Exactly as she was in every memory I have of her. My sincerest condolences to her family. Losing her so soon is heartbreaking. She will be remembered with love.

I had the pleasure to work with Ailene for 25 years. She was a dedicated worker and a great team player. I always enjoyed her sense of humour.
