Peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital on October 4, 2003, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Florence Maud for over 57 years. Loving father of Mark and his wife Beth, daughter Linda, John and his wife Linda, Ian and his wife Sharon and Ann and her husband Jim. Beloved grandfather of David and his wife Rachel, Katie, Michael, Andrea, Christine, Nicholas, Lindsay, Patrick, Christopher, Stephen, Kevin, Jashua, Nicholas and beloved great-grandfather of Kyle. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family and friends. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. A private family service will be held followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
