In Loving Memory

Albert D’Souza passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021 at Mackenzie Health Hospital, in his 80th year. He is loved, cherished and survived by his wife, Diana, of 47 years, his children, Elissa, Evelyn (Gianluca), Alberta and Aaron (Lisa), and his grandchildren, Lilia, Matthew and Alex. He is survived by his siblings, Filo, Innocensia, Diego, and Eudes, and their families. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws Willie and Bonie Lobo, and their families.

Albert will be fondly remembered by his family as a loving and devoted husband and father, a good and kind-hearted human being who went out of his way to help others, and a strong and energetic man who worked hard all his life. He lived a full and good life, enjoyed his work as an Avionics Engineer, loved spending time with his family, and always had a bright smile on his face. His friends will remember his love for fishing and for good food, his uncanny ability to build and repair anything, his giving nature, and his pleasant personality which was contagious to everyone he met. His presence was felt and marked by all who encountered him, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

To our dearest husband and dad, we loved you your whole life, and we'll miss you for the rest of ours. You are no longer physically with us, but you will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.

Condolences can be left here on the Kane-Jerrett website.

Dear Diana,

Heard about the passing of Albert it was a total shock
I cannot imagine what you and the family went through
during the difficult times.
I had close ties with Albert and Filo at Embakasi Airport where
they worked with EAA and KQ and I with Pan Am engineering
and later with EAA and KQ as a pilot.
May he Rest in Eternal peace

To All Our Friends & Family,
Tomorrow will mark the one month anniversary of our beloved husband and father, whose life was honoured, at the time of his passing, during a private ceremony with immediate family in attendance.

We would like to express our eternal gratitude for all your support during this very difficult time. We are able to draw strength from your personal phone calls, flowers, masses, cards, kind words and gestures.

On the family's behalf, St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica will offer a mass of intention for our dad, along with the lighting of a prayer candle to commemorate the one month anniversary of his passing.

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. "

Dear Diana, Elissa, Evelyn, Alberta, Aaron and families.

It is with deep sorrow, that we have learnt of Albert's passing way. Our heartfelt sympathies, on the loss of Albert, to you all.

Albert was a gentle giant and a very handsome man,  who reminded me of Elvis Presley.  We always had a good-time in Nairobi (Kenya) and Anjuna (Goa).

I remember when Albert, Filo, Eudes, Diago and Innocencia, would come over to our place in Kenya, for holidays. Albert would always ask my dad to use the Gun, to go hunting. We all had some wonderful times together. Having wild game and fowls, cooked by his favourite Aunty Margaret.

I will always treasure the good times we spent together in our early life. Albert was also a very good angler, and was the best at catching the biggest fish. Those were the good old days. He has left us with a lot of memories.

Albert was a loving husband and devoted father. May his memories, give you all, the peace and comfort to carry on his legacy. Cherish the years, you had together.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. May the Soul of Albert, Rest in Peace and may Perpetual Light Shine upon him.

In Deep Sympathy,
Derrick, Ines & Family
