Passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at his home, after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. Beloved husband of Annunziata for almost 65 years. Loving father of Gary (Hilde) and Angela (Alex). Cherished Nonno of Erika (Damian), Natasha (John), Michael, and Robert. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who helped improve Alessandro’s quality of life. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Ave. W.). Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Markham-Stouffville Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
