Peacefully, at home, surrounded by family, on Friday, August 18th, 2006, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Patricia for 48 years. Loving father of Kathryn, Peter and his wife Kelly. Proud grandad of Jeffrey and Bryan. Dear brother to Grace and Patricia (Gerhard). Uncle and friend to all the family in Barbados and Australia. Our family wishes to thank most sincerely the doctors of Sunnybrook Cancer Centre, CCAC of York Region, Heather and the doctors of the Palcare Network and Nahid for their dedication and compassion. Funeral service will be held at Thornhill United Church, (25 Elgin Street, Thornhill), on Tuesdsay, August 22nd, 2006 at 11 o'clock. Reception to follow at the Church's Gathering Place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
