Suddenly, yet peacefully passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (2005). Loving father of Luis (Terry) and Alcina (Pat). Cherished Avô of Brad (Angela), Lori (Marc), and Adam and Bisavô of Peter, Rosalyn, Connor, and Brody. Dear friend of Paul Chana, Brenda, Tony, David, and Paul. Americo was a hardworking, dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Ave. W.). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
