Angela Mandarello

After a courageous battle with cancer, Angela passed away peacefully with loving family at her side on Thursday July 24, 2008 at Toronto General Hospital in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Antimo Mandarello (1993). Loving mother to Nancy (Frank Piluso), Albina (Bruno Ariganello), Gerry (Lucy), Carol (the late Enzo Pecchia) and Anna (Chris Pennell). Cherished "Nonna" to Rosie (Steve), Frankie, Stefano, Tanya, Michael M., Diana, Daniela and Michael and "Bis-Nonna" to Isabella and Stefano. Survived by dear brother Alessandra and sisters Maria and Filomena. Angela will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her inner strength, compassion, generosity and love for others.

Friends may visit on Saturday July 26, from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday July 27, from 4-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church (540 St. Clair Avenue West), on Monday July 28, 2008 at 10 o'clock. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canada Cancer Society.
