Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Credit Valley Hospital, in her 90th year . Anita, beloved wife of the late George Austin (1952) and Willmer Phillips (2000). Loving mother of Victor (Katherine) and Bethany. Cherished Grandma of Emily (Kevin), James (Heather), Jessie, Rebecca, Johnny and Benjamin. Dear sister of Robert Lehtonen (Donna) and the late Maire Kuosa (1954).
Anita will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25th from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 26th at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yonge Street Mission.
