Anne-Marie Quigley

Passed away peacefully at the Gibson Retirement Home on Friday, August 29, 2003 in her 84th year. Loving daughter of Samuel and Maude Quigley (predeceased). Caring sister of Dr. Gerard Quigley (predeceased) and his wife Florence; Thomas Quigley (predeceased) and his wife Teresa. Devoted aunt of Maureen and Patrick; Michael and Dale; Mark; Peter and Kelly; Kevin and Kathy; and Susan. She will also be sadly missed by her many great nieces and nephews. A graduate of St. Michael's School of Nursing, followed by years of dedicated service, retiring as Executive Director of St. Elizabeth Visiting Nurses Association. An active member in her community and Catholic charities, Anne-Marie continued throughout her retirement in contributing to the well-being of others. Anne-Marie's gift to her family and friends was love and support. Her strength and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3 at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Ave.) at 10 am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Gibson Home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Catholic Missions of Canada would be appreciated.
