Anne Elizabeth Walford

July 7, 1921 - July 2, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Walford announces her passing. Predeceased by her loving husband Ernie Walford.Daughter of Annie Meadows (nee Proctor) and George Meadows, late of Toronto; predeceased by all of her siblings. Left to mourn are her children Lynda Tonkin (Hal Tonkin), Lois Zelmer (Wayne Zelmer), Bruce Walford (Hal Padbury) and Ric Walford (Olga Krejci) and her grandchildren James and Sharon Tonkin; Kyle (Trish Murray) and Adam Zelmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom embodied the spirit of grace and generosity; always offering support, comfort, a keen wit and great food to her family and friends. She was active in her church and community, touching the lives of many; she will be deeply missed. We are grateful to have shared in her life. Memorial service at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. North York on Wednesday, July 29th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
