Predeceased by his wife Olive of 53 years and his 5 year old grandson Michael. Dear brother of Evelyn. Loving partner of Margaret for 12 years. Much loved father of Karen and Jan, father-in-law of Gary and John. Proud grandfather of Christopher and Laura and great-grandfather of Isaac, Aliza and Canaan. Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) with visitation one hour prior. Urn Interment to follow at York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit at North York General.
