Mom passed away peacefully on Sunday July 23rd in her 90th year. Loving wife for over 50 years of Tom who passed away in 2006. Mother of Randy (Nancy), Michael (Jeannie), Chris (Sandra) and Marcie (Ezio). Nana of Anne, John, Ryan, Brennah, Kaleigh, Corbin, Ally and Tom and great-grandmother of Layla and very recently Addison and Sophia. Mom attended Lawrence Park Collegiate, was a nurse at St. Michael's Hospital and then at Shell, Texaco and Imperial Oil. She enjoyed much of her retirement with Tom (and Taffy) at Oro Station on Lake Simcoe, constantly surrounded by children, grandchildren and friends, particularly wonderful neighbours Brian and Nancy Foster. Mom spent the last 9 years of her life at the Village of Humber Heights in Etobicoke, keeping her good humour and sharp wit with staff and caregivers whose kindness the family has very much appreciated. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Mom's full life and lots of great memories.
