Audrey Isabel Waine

Our mom has passed on to be with our dad Art, who also recently left us. They were together for 62 years and now are united again. We have been truly blessed as a family to have been guided by our parent�s love and wisdom for so many years.

Audrey passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Thursday February 1, 2007 surrounded by her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children John (Marg), Joan (Rick Lazazzera), Cathey, Sandy (Jim Briggs) and Ron (Ann Marie). She will be dearly missed by her 8 grandchildren Jennifer (Jerry), Andrea, Darren (Elaine), Michael, Ricky, David, Marie and Jack and 4 great-grand children Austin, Alicia, Brendan and Kaitlyn. Our mom was a wonderful soul - loving, kind, compassionate and strong in spirit. Her strength and love for family is her legacy. She was proud of her roots - she was born and raised in Thornhill when it was a small village. Willowdale was her home in her adult life. She cared deeply for all animals, loved her gardening and was a passionate researcher of her family history. Our family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of the 4th floor C Wing at Sunnybrook Hospital and Genet, Beatrice and Velma. Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday February 5th, 2007 at 1 o�clock. Interment York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society or the Salvation Army.
