She leaves behind her daughter Margaret (Michael), son William (Heather), grandchildren Barbara (Simcha), Sean (Alexandra), and great grandchildren Brandon, Brooke and Breanne.
Barbara was born in England where she proudly served as a bomb girl in World War II where she met her loving husband, the late Frederick Howell who was stationed at Teeside Airforce Base in Middleton-St. George.
Barbara came to Canada from England with her daughter in 1946 on the Queen Mary to reunite with her husband.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother devoted to her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be hold on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St. Thornhill).
