Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2013 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Paul. Loving mother of Arlene Mitchell (Jim), Julie Kirk (Malcolm), Robert (Sue), John (Joanne) and Carolyn. Cherished Nana of Catherine, Jennifer and Liane Mitchell, Natalie, Jessica and Michelle Kirk, Christopher and Danielle Mably. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
