The plane has finally landed.
It is with extremely heavy hearts, that our family announces our much-loved father, Brian Kenneth Arnold has suddenly passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 68 in his home.
He is the beloved husband of the late Deborah “Debi” Arnold, admired and adored father of Chris (Kathy), Jen “Jeni Wren” and the late Brian Jr. “BJ”, Grandpa to Brian and Katrina “ Katrina-Olivia”, Brother to the late Richard Arnold, Brothers by his honour to - William “Bill” Croft, Larry Hooper, James Orton “Face”, Mark Searle, Wes Thompson and numerous relatives and friends.
The family was very important to Brian, he adored his children and grandchildren by continuously encouraging us to believe in ourselves, to be assured that his “chirping” was sage advice, we would use in our lives to succeed in living a life on our terms and values.
Brian was a jovial/merry man that had the gift of gab and an attentive ear to anyone that had something to say. He was a very successful businessman that cultivated friendships with almost everyone he met. Brian was known to be generous, always wanted to feed you, make you comfortable and want to hear your story, as well tell a few of his own. Brian could routinely be found, singing his version of songs, washing dishes, watching a hockey game especially if it’s a Pittsburg Penguin game, volunteering for many organizations, fishing when he could and lending a hand without question!
His charm was noticeable, his warmth was comforting and his integrity was unmatched.
We would like to especially thank Dr. Nathan Ziebert and his staff, Dr. Nelles and her staff and the staff at Trillium Hospital, the Staff at Credit Valley Hospital and all of his favourite nurses including Alice for lightening Brian's doctor visits.
A private service will be held and a celebration of life will be announced on a future date to honour Brian, out of restrictions of covid times. Brian always wanted anyone he touched to remember “just for shits and giggles is a real saying! ”, “help one another” and “details are important even if they go around the mulberry bush and back three, four or five …even ten times”.
To remember Brian, he did not encourage donations or flowers. Brian preferred you spend time with loved ones, talk & share stories ……….make memories!
Please add tributes to honour Brian below ❤️
A celebration of Life is being held at Orangeville Agricultural Society on April 30, 2022 from 1-4pm.
