Charles Seath

Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill on Thursday March 5th, 2015 in his 90th year. Devoted husband of Jeanne. Dear father to Brian (Aida), Shannon (Walt) and Susan. Cherished Grandpa to A.J. , Derek, Tristan, Rhiannon, Emily and Gabriel. Loving uncle to Steve, Katie (Gord), Ted and Pat. Predeceased by brothers John and Douglas and sister Katherine. Charlie was a long-time employee of the York Region Board of Education, first Head of Physical Education at Thornhill High School, Vice Principal at Richmond Hill and Bayview Secondary Schools and first principal of Don Head Secondary School. Charlie was a long- time member of Thornhill United Church. Visitation at R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday March 13th, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Memorial service to be held at the Thornhill United Church, 25 Elgin St. on Saturday March 14th, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow. Cremation. Private interment will take place at a later date at the Thornhill Cemetery.
