Born December 2, 1925 passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Tuesday December 9, 2014 at North York General Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ann and Daniel Callaghan, loving sister to Tom and his late wife Marie, the late Angus and his wife Elsie, Rose Marie and her late husband John Deans, the late John and his wife Joan, Anne and her late husband Lawrie Jackson, Duncan and his wife Eleonora (and his late wife Jackie), Joseph, Neil and his wife Lorna. The family will receive family and friends at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding south of Steeles Avenue) on Thursday December 11, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue (north of Finch Avenue) on Friday December 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow Mass at Mount Hope Cemetery.
