Words can never describe the loss you felt on this day. But words can also never describe your love for one another. "'Til death do us part"? No. You are still together, in each other's hearts and minds forever.

I am so sorry for your loss Chrissy, I now it must be extremely hard for you and your family. Always remember the good times and all the great memories you have made together. My thoughts and prayers have been with you.

I'm not sure this is so much a story but a long comment. I work with Monica and have become friends with her and her husband. I have had the pleasure of meeting Chris at one of the barbecues they had at Monica and Emad's quite a while ago. I have to say it is very touching to see the closeness of Monica and her brothers let alone the entire Katsandris family. Chris was spoken of very highly by his baby sister, he was a heroic figure that not only inspired his family and friends, but his courage also touched people like me who mostly heard about him.



Being such a person to his family and friends he was surrounded and supported by them with so much energy and unwavering love. I want to extend my deep heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends of Chris Anthony Katsandris. May he rest in peace, God bless him and all of you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris at the City of York/Toronto for the past fifteen years. We created beautiful gardens where there were none. He constantly talked about his family, friends and children. I heard many stories that were full of pride, laughter and love. He talked about Mathew and Ashley constantly. He was so proud of them and shared many photos of them. He loved Chrissy, and we came to know that she was indeed special. They were so happy. He was wonderfully creative not only in his landscape designs and his many inventions, but in how he approached life. He taught us that anything was possible and to never give up. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we were always laughing. He was an inspiration to all of us at the City who knew him and he will be forever missed.

Our deepest condolences to our friends who have lost their son, brother, uncle and husband. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Rest in peace, dear Chris. Your strength will keep us strong.
