Christopher Hunt

Born in Ballacolla, County Laois, Ireland on December 30, 1922. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 89 with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Peggy) and loving father of Mary, Christine (Rob), Sarah (Bob), Margaret (Tom), Gerald (Tracey) and Joan (Richard). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Ryan (Christina), Courtney (Darren), Joanne (Fab), Patricia, Christopher (Danielle), Maxwell and great-grandchildren Samantha, Giuliano and Hannah. Predeceased by Joanne and Carolyn. Survived by his brother Frank, sisters Tess and Clare, brother-in-law Philip (Noreen) and sister-in-law Geraldine (Peter). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Queen of Scotland R. C. Church (222 Ridley Blvd., Avenue Rd. south of Wilson Ave.). Reception to follow in the church hall. Private cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or a charity of your choice.
