Chris was born on November 29, 1964 in York, Ontario.
Chris will be missed every day by his daughter, Nicole and his wife, Jane.
Chris was predeceased by his parents, Lois and Dave Rockson, and his older brother Ken. With Chris’s passing, the family is reunited and welcoming Chris to heaven.
Chris was an intelligent, personable and persuasive man, who was a dedicated , loving and devoted father. His daughter Nicole became the most important thing in his life from the moment she was born , and there was not a day of his life not made better or brighter by his devoted daughter Chris was a talented and successful salesman, who was popular among clients and colleagues.
Chris’s health was a significant challenge that began in his 20’s , and as time passed, the challenge increased from day to day to minute to minute. Despite this, Chris’s stubborn streak served him well as he fought a daily battle for several hours a days , every day, for 25 years, in the gym. His focus, dedication, and sheer bloody will were the reason his life and health remained as good as they were for so many years, until very recently.
Chris broke his hip in March of 2022, and spent six months recovering and rehabilitating. He remained as stubbornly defiant as ever , and was working to recover as much of his previous strength as possible when he died.
Chris had a great sense of justice, but an even better sense of humour. It will be his humour that will be remembered , and missed, the most. His smile, his denim blue eyes, and the sound of his ready laugh will forever be in our hearts and mind.
Rest in peace. May God Grant you eternal rest.
