Manang Mars passing in January, Manong Abe in July, Manong Danny in Sept, and Juns awful time w/ his health and finally God gave him his rest in February this year. Jun, our children and I will never forget that without Manang Beck and Manong Danny's sponsorship to Canada we would never meet and no children or grandkids would have been born ... We are all forever greatful See you four in the Heavenly Morning!!!"

Dad, it's 5:20 am, Sabbath morning, of September 28. I saw this website and I just want to acknowledge that it's one year to your death. It's still hard to know that you're really gone. I feel guilty that I've been so busy this month, that I didn't realize it's been a year. Isn't that the case? Always busy?! September was our church's 35th anniversary and it was a huge success! I wish you had been here to witness the celebration from Vespers, all day Sabbath and a grand cultural program last Sunday. We also close out our basketball season and look forward to the playoffs. Today promises to be busy, but I don't want to leave September without saying, "I love and miss you, dad!" I really do. I miss mom, too! Now, rest in peace until Jesus comes to wake you and mom and we will spend eternity with Jesus. I promise. I pray my family, my siblings, the other extended Belonio family and our friends will all be there to see you again on the Happy Resurrection morning. Please accept our condolences on your recent loss. What Has Helped Us to Cope When you lose a loved one in such a tragic way, a lot of confusing questions and emotions arise. There have been times when I have endeavored to comfort and help others struggling with such questions and feelings. But when you are the one grieving, emotions can cloud clear thinking. A number of scripture texts have been especially comforting and has helped us to cope. “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) I have long believed the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to an earthly paradise, but now that hope is even more real to me. Just knowing that I will be able to see and hold my loved ones again has given me the strength to make it through each day. “‘Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.’ (John 5:28, 29) The words ‘memorial tombs’ suggest that our loved ones is in Jehovah’s memory until he has his Son, Jesus Christ, resurrect our loved ones Jehovah truly will help us to cope with this unspeakable tragedy. Oh, we still grieve for our dear loved ones. Our grief will not be completely erased until we can hug them again in Jehovah’s new world.
