Denis Ewart Creighton passed away peacefully in the presence of the love of his life, Joan and surrounded by those caregivers who loved and cared for him at the Collingwood Nursing Home. Denis was the devoted husband of Joan, father to Lindsey (Jeff) and Alison (Ralph) and Poppa to Daena, Holly, Sydney, and Ethan
Denis dedicated his life to healthcare as a physiotherapist not only in his clinic but to his friends, neighbours, and family. He had a particular love of roses for which he was dedicated to the growth, development, and display. His contributions to the Rose Society in Ontario were significant both through lectures and judging of competitions. He will be forever remembered for his love of gardening and for his ability to make everyone feel better.
Denis had a tremendous wit and a wicked sense of humour. His passion for all things historical has been carried on by his grandchildren.
The family wish to express their deep thanks to the staff at Collingwood Nursing Home, in particular Jackie, Dan and Janice who provided him care, comfort and love.
