Diane Joan Anderson

Passed away on Monday February 10, 2014 at North York General hospital in her 85th year. Diane was born on October 31, 1929 in Victoria , B.C. Diane worked for many years at her former husband Phillip's side in the music industry at both of Phil's businesses, ARC Sound and Ahed Music. She started a second career as a handwriting expert and became one of Ontario's first certified document examiners testifying as an expert witness at over 80 trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Following her retirement Diane pursued her passion for art and obtained her diploma in Art from the Toronto School of Art in 2006. Diane was passionate about gardening and enjoyed many happy days at the family farm in Stouffville. She enjoyed collecting both Native Canadian and Asian artifacts over the years.

Beloved mother of Reid Anderson, Dana Anderson and Craig Anderson (Mary). Grandmother to Daryll Breau and Colin and Trevor Anderson.

Survived by her former spouse Phillip Anderson. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Jeanne Reid and brother Gordon Reid.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call on Friday February 14, 2014 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles ) between 6-8 PM for a memorial visitation. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 15, 2014 at Forest Grove United Church (43 Forest Grove Drive, Toronto, Ontario) at 3:30 PM. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Operation Smile or Nellie's Shelter.
