Donna Marie Fraser

In utter peace, Donna put her life in the hands of the Lord, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 after spending Christmas in the happy company of family.

Precious daughter of Don and Glad Coutts, beloved sister of Patricia Robertson, predeceased by her son Colin, proud mother of Marie Houghton (John), Patricia Mann (Peter) and Karen Maki (Gary). Grandmother of Andrew, Adon, Emily, Spencer, Fraser and Sonny.

A Graduate of Loretto Abbey Toronto, long time member of the Loyola Guild, the highlight of Donna's professional life was working for many years in the Administration of Liberal Arts, Newnam Campus Seneca College and for the School of Communication Arts, at York. Ever a wizard with numbers (a huge Sudoku fan!) in retirement she enjoyed her role as Treasurer for her Condominium Board.

Special Thanks to family doctor Dr. Edward Jesin, Dr. Darryl Roitman and the caring staff of NYGH - especially the acute care and palliative nursing teams.

Friends may call on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Urn Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital Foundation - Freeman Centre for Palliative Care.
