Passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Robert Earl Crawford (2012). Loving mother of Elaine and her husband William Daguanno, Robb and his wife Linda and Diana and her husband Rob Ellsworth. Beloved Nana of Larry, Michael, Cameron, Jonathan and Marcus. Doreen is survived by sisters Shirley, June and Irene. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 24th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 25th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Highland Memory Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
