Doris Mary Elizabeth McLean

Born in Toronto in 1930. Passed away suddenly in her 77th year at York Central Hospital on Tuesday January 23, 2007. Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard McLean and her parents Thomas Henry and Doris Mabel Stewart. Loving mother to Craig and daughter-in-law Pam and to Heather and son-in-law Dennis Bott. Proud and loving grandmother to Kyle, Stewart, Dennis Jr., John, Jaimee and Connor. Fond aunt to Peter and Dorothy Cavanagh and great- aunt to Beverley and Michael. She will be sorely missed by her family and her many friends. The family wants to acknowledge and thank the York E.M.S., York Central Hospital Emergency (Charles) and the I.C.U. staff (Dr. Carol Redstone and Christine) who treated our mom with such compassion and care. Friends may call on Friday January 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday January 27th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
