Suddenly and tragically at Markham Stouffville Hospital on April 20th, 2016 surrounded by her family. Doris, beloved wife of Johnny Vag. Loving mother of Jamie Norton (Peter), Daryl Paulin, Johnny Vag and Jessie Vag. Cherished Nana of Zachary, Becky and Brittany. Predeceased by her mother Christianna Breins. Survived by her father Wolfgang Breins and her sister Rosemary Lees (Andrew) and nephews Nicholas (Sonja) and William. Well respected in the dance community and loved by all who knew her. Doris was a helpful friend to many; she is already greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, April 29th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R S Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 11 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill. Private cremation.
