Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in his 89th year. Douglas, beloved husband of the late Laura Martin. Loving father of Carol, Bob and Donna; grandfather (Popops) of Todd, Sasha, Robert and Katherine. He is survived by his sister Maureen (Norm Wrycraft) and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated.
